Building mini-sites seems all the rage. Its easy, right? All you have to do is:
- Find your Keyword
- Research the LSI keywords
- Register the domain
- Get hosting
- Install blog
Building a WordPress Blog People Want to Read

- Write your 4 articles. 300-500 words please.
- Write you about me page
- Set up your auto responder
- Get a Privacy Disclaimer
- Get an Affiliate Disclaimer-With the upcoming changes to FTC rules, you need to let the world know that you are trying to sell them stuff.
- Set up an RSS feed and ping your blog with the major sites.
Then you just sit back and watch the bagload$$$ of ca$h to arrive at your door.
I wish it were that easy.
What are some of the things that can help to speed up the process?
Good hosting:
I use Host Gator. They are cheap, easy to use and fast to respond with any issues that I have had with service. When I wanted to add more sites to my account, I was able to upgrade my account easily. A host that grows with you and doesn't try to rip you off? Wonderful.
Cheap domains:
Name Cheap is my one stop shop for domains. They offer free whois protection with each registration, protecting your privacy. They also offer SSL certificates and Dedicated IP's if you want to step up you web services. The Website is currently running this promotion:

Price : $26.62 ? I don't know really, but I know that without it people have no reason to visit and revisit your site. Pick a niche and look at the top blogs. The top blogs are adding content daily maybe even hourly. Posts, articles, updates, news from feeds and articles by others. Something, Anything. There is no need to compete with the authority sites, steal their keywords and target a sub-niche.
If you hate writing, outsource

Price : $15.00 it. Spend your time working on higher value tasks. You don't need a Pulitzer caliber writer to write 5 keyword based 500 word articles, just someone who has a good grasp of English. Spend a few minutes cleaning each article up and you are done. Low Stress, High Value.

Ads:
Adwords? Dangerous for beginners, easy to spend a lot and get nothing in return. Do your research if you venture into the Adwords world.
Adsense? Sure if you can get approved. And follow the rules. And get traffic to your site. And get legitimate clicks, clicks that covert for the advertiser. Here is my secret for getting approved for Adsense- Get a Blogger account. That it. Set up you blog and go through the monotize steps. Boom! Now you have an adsense

Price : $31.57 account and now you can post ads on your personal websites. Blogger is free to use. Free is always good when you are just starting out. Free is a great way to learn the ropes of blogging before you spend your hard earned money to make money.
Feeds:
Set up your feed with Feedburner at a minimum, maybe add a few more like www.propeller.com or www.technorati.com. There are also wordpress plugins that can handle your blog pinging.
Wrapping it all up:
There is no fast and easy way to make money online. Pain and Repition. Failure, failure and finally Success. Patience. Try Try Again. Never Give Up!
Look at the most successful person you know. Do they work hard to achieve their dreams? Do they sit back and wait for their ship to come in? HELL NO! Get busy! Make a few mistakes and then do it again with the knowledge that you have gained from you failures.
